A View to a Kill (chanson)

A View to a Kill est la chanson-titre du film de James Bond de 1985 Dangereusement vôtre. Elle a été interprétée par le groupe de pop rock britannique Duran Duran dont elle est l'un des plus grands succès. C'est à ce jour la seule chanson-titre de James Bond à avoir atteint la première place du Billboard Hot 100 aux États-Unis et le deuxième titre de Duran Duran à avoir accompli cet exploit après The Reflex (1984)^[3].

Histoire[]

Duran Duran a été choisi pour interpréter la chanson de Dangereusement vôtre après que John Taylor, fan de James Bond depuis toujours^[4], ait abordé le producteur historique Albert R. Broccoli lors d'une soirée et lui a demandé, quelque peu ivre : "Quand vas-tu trouver quelqu'un de décent pour interpréter l'un de tes génériques ?"^[5].
