ジョン・リス＝デイビス（John Rhys-Davies, 1944年5月5日 - ）は、イングランド出身の俳優。
略歴[]
両親はウェールズ出身[1][2]。『インディ・ジョーンズ』シリーズのサラ役や『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』のギムリ役で有名。身長185cmという大柄な体格を生かして悪役や主人公の参謀役をこなすことが多い。『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』ではドワーフのギムリ役で120cmの小人を演じた。彼はギムリのメイクに毎回5時間を費やしたという。当初は『ハリー・ポッター』シリーズのハグリッド役として候補に上がっていた。
イースト・アングリア大学と王立演劇学校で学び[3]、テレビシリーズに出演し知られるようになる。『スタートレック』にも出演したことがある。
