The abseiling bracelet is a wearable grappling device disguised as a silver snake bracelet. The device was developed by the Chinese Ministry of State Security (MSS), and appeared in the 1997 James Bond film, Tomorrow Never Dies.

A grappling device disguised as a silver snake bracelet, the device fired a metal piton (disguised as its tongue) into solid surfaces. The trailing climbing cord could then be fastened to a clip on the user's belt, allowing them to descend a rock face or other near-vertical surface. The equipment was issued to Chinese intelligence operative, Wai Lin, who utilised it in her escape from the Carver Media Group Network building in Hamburg. As Lin is making her escape, she gives a wave to James Bond, who was forced to escape on foot.
