Amazon.com, Inc.is an American multinational technology company focusing on e-commerce, cloud computing, online advertising, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence. It has been often referred to as "one of the most influential economic and cultural forces in the world".It is considered as one of the Big Five American technology companies.
On May 26, 2021, it acquired MGM for $8.45 billion.[1]
On February 20, 2025, in a deal reportedly worth around $1 billion, Amazon and MGM Studios purchased full creative control of the James Bond franchise from Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.[2]
