Angela Margaret Scoular (8 November 1945 – 11 April 2011)[1] was a British actress notable for appearing in two James Bond films from different distribution companies; She actually played Buttercup in the 1967 off-set Casino Royale before playing the "Angel of Death" Ruby Bartlett in the 1969 film On Her Majesty's Secret Service alongside George Lazenby, Ilse Steppat and Catherine Von Schell. She was married to comedian Leslie Phillips. Suffering from depression, anorexia and bipolar disorder, she died after ingesting an acidic draining liquid.[2]
