Bond 26 is the working title for a future twenty-sixth film with James Bond as the British protagonist.
This film will be a reboot of the James Bond film series, being the second reboot since Casino Royale in 2006, and the first Bond film to be produced by Heyman Films and Pascal Pictures under the oversights of David Heyman and Amy Pascal. In February 2025, Amazon took over the production from EON Productions (and owners Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli) and began fast tracking for a new James Bond film.
In June 2025, it was announced that Denis Villeneuve would direct and executive produce the film, with Tanya Lapointe also executive producing.[1] In July 2025, it was announced that Steven Knight would write the film.[2]
