Colt

Colt's Manufacturing Company (CMC) is an American firearms manufacturer founded by Samuel Colt in Hartford, Connecticut in 1847 as Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company. The company was brought by the Česká zbrojovka Group (aka CZUB) in 2021. In April 2022, Česká zbrojovka Group announced it had changed its name to Colt CZ Group, with CMC now being a subsidiary brand of the group.

Colt has developed and manufactured several pioneering firearms, namely the Walker Colt and the Colt Single Action Army revolver (also known as the Colt Peacemaker and Colt .45).
