The Chef de Partie works at Casino Royale in the 1954 television adaptation of the novel of the same name. He is played by French actor Eugene Borden.

- Chef de Partie: " [after James Bond has been shot at whilst entering the casino] The casino is full of apologies Mr. Bond. Such an act is beyond explanation. You had not begun to play, so it was not your winnings they were after."
- James Bond: "Yeah, and it wasn't my autograph either."
The term "chef de partie" literally means "chief" or "head of the party". It is oftwn used to refer to line chefs within kitchens, but in a casino context can refer to someone who is responsible for the hospitality side whike customers are gambling.
