The Chinese MiG Pilot was a fictional unnamed Chinese soldier who appeared briefly in the 1997 James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies. He was portrayed by Chinese-born actor Vincent Wang.
Biography[]
Together with another fighter pilot, he is sent out to warn HMS Devonshire about them illegaly entering Chinese waters and threatens to attack them. The British sailors, believing to be in international waters, do not react to the pilot's warnings.
After the Devonshire is sunk by Elliot Carver's stealth ship crew, Captain Scott orders his men to fire a missile at one of the Chinese MiG fighter planes. With horror, the pilot realizes the missile is going to hit him. He is killed when the missile destroys his plane.
