Chris was an American Astronaut in the Jupiter 16 Spacecraft, who was killed when SPECTRE had used Bird 1 to attack his space shuttle, leaving Chris drifting into outer space.

Chris was an astronaut in the Jupiter 16 Spacecraft. Orbiting over the Earth is Jupiter 16, a US space capsule manned by two astronauts. As they maintained radio contact with bases in Hawaii and Houston, Chris ventured outside to make routine repairs, when radar picked up Bird 1 closing fast. Radio contact is lost and Bird 1 opened up and swallowed Jupiter 16, in the process severing Chris's lifeline and leaving him to die in space.
