- McWilliams has worked on every James Bond film since For Your Eyes Only, with the exceptions of Licence to Kill, which was cast by Janet Hirshenson and Jane Jenkins
- In Die Another Day, McWilliams was not the casting director, but did work with the casting department and received a casting direct. It is the only James Bond films she has worked on, where was was not the casting director. The film's casting director was Natalya Krimenskaya.
- In For Your Eyes Only, McWilliams is credited as Deborah McWilliams, before she began going by Debbie.
- While casting No Time to Die, McWilliams ended up tracking Rami Malek down at a screening of Malek's film Bohemian Rhapsody, as his agents were not returning her calls, and directly asked him if he was aware that Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli were interested in him for the role of Lyutsifer Safin, which Malek was not. By the following day, McWilliams had arranged a meeting between Malek, Wilson and Broccoli, which ended with Malek securing the role.
