The Doorman works at Casino Royale in the 1954 television adaptation of novel of the same name. He is played by Costa Rican actor Herman Belmonte.
Biography[]
The doorman has three claims to fame, firstly as having some of the first dialogue in any Bond screen adaptation, secondly, being arguably the first Latin American character to appear onscreen in Bond, and thirdly, as one of the first of many to witness James Bond being shot at.
