Eidos Interactive Limited (formerly Domark Limited and presently Square Enix Limited), was a British video game publisher. The company was founded as Domark Software in 1984, named after the founders Mark Strachan and Dominic Wheatley. In 1995, the company was acquired by Eidos and was merged with two other studios and renamed Eidos Interactive the following year. On 9 November 2009, Square Enix completed the merger of its existing European branch with Eidos Interactive, renaming the resulting company Square Enix Europe. Eidos Interactive's first (and last) James Bond content was the CD-ROM reference guide James Bond 007: The Ultimate Dossier, released in November 1996 in North America for the Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 platforms.[1][2]
