An explosive keychain is a keychain which contains a small explosive charge, which was triggered by the Phone Detonator. It was used by Carlos Nikolic to plant onto a petrol tanker, which he intended to drive into a plane and cause a massive explosion.
History[]
Having tracked discovered a plan to destroy Skyfleet, James Bond discovered Carlos Nikolic planting an explosive keychain onto a petrol tanker, which he intended to drive into the plane and cause a massive explosion. Bond confronted Nikolic, and the pair engaged in a prolonged battle, during which Bond was almost thrown out of the tanker, which caused him to find and grab the explosive keychain. As Bond wrestled with Nikolic, he managed to secretly attach the keychain to his belt, before they were separated. As Bond prevented the tanker from crashing into the plane, Nikolic used his Phone Detonator to trigger the bomb, unaware that the bomb had been attached to him, leading to Nikolic inadvertently blowing himself up, preventing the plane from being damaged.
