For the video game Quantum of Solace, scenes in the 2008 film and 2006's Casino Royale were greatly expanded upon for gameplay purposes. The White Estate constitutes the entirety of the game's first level and is much larger than its film counterpart. As with the film, 007 wounds and attempts to extract criminal counterintelligence operative, Mr. White from his villa. However, he is quickly set upon by White's armed guards and is forced into the Estate's adjacent gardens, working his way around and into the building itself. Inside, Bond attempts to recover the money White stole; discovering instead a hidden computer room containing his organization's secrets. Outside, White triggers the building to self-destruct and attempts to escape by helicopter, only to be shot down and recaptured by 007.

Behind the Scenes[]

  • Concept art was designed for the ruins of medieval village on Mr. White's Estate. The ruins were eventually scrapped, but elements of the design, such as the greenhouse, were incorporated into the finished level.
