The Limpet Mine is a explosive weapon featured in the James Bond franchise, which attaches itself to any surface it is planted to and/or thrown at. They come in three major versions, remote mines (most common version, usually detonated with a Q-branch wristwatch like the Omega Seamaster), timed mines and proximity mines.
It is a specific design first featured in the 1995 James Bond movie GoldenEye, but has taken the life of its own in the Bond media afterwards.

Slightly modified versions of remote mines featured in GoldenEye are usable in this game. They are fired through a sort of grenade launcher and latch onto surface that the mine lands.
