Location: Danger was the eighth episode of the 1991 animated television series, James Bond Jr, produced by Murakami-Wolf-Swenson and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Animation. Written by Misty Taggart, the episode first aired on US television on 25th September 1991.

Plot[]

The episode opens with James Bond Jr. rescuing his friends from a hostile Amazonian tribe and escaping on-board a helicopter. He suddenly wakes up and it is revealed that Bond was dreaming during an airing of the action espionage film, Spyman. He criticises the film's authenticity — inadvertently angering Anne Genue, the daughter of its lead actor. Bond tries to make it up to her by lavishing her with presents on her 16th birthday party and discovers that her estranged father has not shown up; much to her disappointment. The students decide to visit him at Mega Bucks Studios in California, but instead discover that he has been replaced by a S.C.U.M. impostor as part of Felony O'Toole's plan to abduct computer specialist (and Spyman fan), Professor Braintrust. The organisation has recently stolen an American super-weapon and requires his knowledge to operate it. Trying to get close to her "father", Anne and the slow-witted Professor are kidnapped by the villains.

After chasing them on the studios' internal rail system, Bond and the gang use I.Q.'s "Continuum Camcorder" to replay the kidnapping and follow the villains to a monster-movie set. Meanwhile, O'Toole persuades Braintrust (who thinks he is part of a movie) into re-programming an enormous animatronic robot named the Lizartron. She uses it to attack the students as she escapes with her captives. Caught by the fire-breathing monster, I.Q. manages to deactivate it and free the group by using a miniature computer. At the urging of S.C.U.M. Lord, Felony attempts to dispose of Anne and her father by tying them to both to the rocket-attached "H" of the famous "Hollywood" sign. Just prior to blast off, Bond and his friends arrive in a movie stunt helicopter, rescuing the Professor. He cuts their bonds - causing only the rockets to launch into the air and harmlessly explode. Neville expresses his remorse to Anne and promises to be a better father, telling her to stay in Hollywood with him.
