Marie is a henchwoman of Ernst Stavro Blofeld who briefly appeared in the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever, portrayed by French model and actress Denise Perrier but partially voiced by Nikki van der Zyl.
Biography[]
When James Bond is tracking down Blofeld's whereabouts by going through various sources, he encounters one man in a casino and asks him where Blofeld is. The man advises him to ask Marie.
Bond tracks down Marie, a young and very sexy French woman who is sunbathing in a small golden bikini, reading women's magazines. Surprised, Marie asks James who he is and 007 introduces himself. Already a bit seduced by 007, she asks him with a smile if there is something she can do for him.
Bond says there is something he'd like for her to get off of her chest and put his arms around Marie's body, who seems to be happy with it. He then suddenly rips off her bathing suit top. The French woman screams with surprise and 007 proceeds to choke her with it, asking her about Blofeld's location. Marie first tries to not betray her boss, but she is quickly painly suffocating and is finally forced to give Bond his location in order to breathe.
Her current status is unknown. However, if Blofeld learnt she gave his location, it is very highly probable that she severely paid it later on, possibly with her life.
Trivia[]
- It is unknown if Marie is a member/agent of SPECTRE or simply affiliated with Blofeld. She doesn’t seem to have a lot of importance in the criminal organization and is probably a simple minion.
