Master Sergeant Sogle was a fictional non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force. A minor ally portrayed by the late American actor, Al Matthews, the character appeared briefly in the 1997 James Bond film, Tomorrow Never Dies.
Biography[]
Sogle instructs James Bond before his HALO jump while searching for the sunken HMS Devonshire in the South China Sea. He bores Bond with statistics about fatalities, and gets rather shocked when Dr. Dave Greenwalt informs him and Jack Wade about the real location of the Devonshire wreck: Vietnam.
