The Mercedes-Benz O 309 is a small bus, built by German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. It is based on the T2-series of vans, and was available with different engines. While the vans got their designation based on their engine size, all 'cubic small busses' based on the T2 vans were called 'O 309'.
The whole T2-family was nicknamed 'Düsseldorfer', as they were built at the Mercedes plant in Düsseldorf.
History[]
In On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Ernst Stavro Blofeld's Angels of Death are collected by this small bus at the cable car station, after having left Piz Gloria for their home countries on Christmas Eve. The bus is driven by a SPECTRE henchman.
