Mil Mi-8 (Russian: Миль Ми-8; NATO reporting name: Hip) is a transport helicopter produced at Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, operated since 1967 by the Soviet Air Force and its successors. The helicopter appeared in Die Another Day (2002).

The helicopter appeared in the opening scene of the movie, carrying diamond smuggler Van Bierk with his shipment. The helicopter ended up being intercepted by Bond and his South Korean allies, with Bond and the allied agents boarding the chopper, the former disguised as Van Bierk, in order to infiltrate the base of Colonel Tan-Sun Moon. After Bond landed at the base, once Zao informed Colonel Moon of Bond's indentity, the colonel, using the new tank buster, destroys the chopper to prevent Bond from escaping, killing the allied agents in the process.
