Number Seven was the code number of a unidentified operative and board member of the secretive criminal organisation, SPECTRE. A minor antagonist portrayed by the late British actor, Cecil Cheng, he appeared briefly in the 1965 James Bond film, Thunderball. To date, across the franchise as a whole, there have been two individuals who have held the number "7".
Biography[]
Number Seven was present at the SPECTRE cabinet meeting in Paris and was the first agent to give his financial report to the Board and its leader, Ernst Blofeld. Active in Japan, Number Seven was involved in the blackmail of a Japanese double agent named Matsou Fujiwa. They took everything the man had; a disappointing ¥40 million (the equivalent of approximately ¥175.3 million or £1.2 million in 2020[1]).
