The Octopus machine was a static war machine constructed by the criminal organisation Octopus to protect their Island headquarters' control centre. The weapon is featured in the 2005 James Bond video-game From Russia with Love as the final boss piloted by Red Grant.

The Octopus machine is situated in the ceiling above the facility's main control room. The machine is controlled from a central pod, from which four articulated metal arms branch off, two equipped with chain-guns and two with grenade launchers. Underneath the pod is slung a laser emitter. It expels exhaust when it is finished cycling through its weapons. Whilst overheating it is particularly vulnerable.
