The Paris Police Officer appears in the 1985 James Bond film A View to a Kill, although only in a deleted scene. He is portrayed by Kenneth Coombs.
Biography[]
After having caused chaos and destruction in the middle of Paris, James Bond is imprisoned by the French police. M has to come and have im released from police custody, and this officer returns Bond's personal belongings to him: At first, he is quite fascinated by Bond's garrote watch (a reference to From Russia with Love), but when he nearly burns himself by using Bond's lighter, which is a small flamethrower, he gets infuriated, but has Bond sign the necessary documents. After Bond has left, the police officer realizes Bond's signature has destroyed the document, since he used the acid pen from Octopussy.
