Peter Lamont (12 November 1929 - 18 December 2020) was a British art and set decorator, set dresser and production designer.

Overall Lamont worked on eighteen Bond films, from Goldfinger (1964) to Casino Royale (2006); the only film in the franchise he did not work on during that time was 1997's Tomorrow Never Dies. In addition to his extensive work on the Bond franchise, he also did work for the Carry On film franchise and was nominated for a total of four Academy Awards on four different films, including 1977's The Spy Who Loved Me.

Lamont worked on a number of other films across his career, including James Cameron's Titanic, the Bond-esque True Lies, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Fiddler on the Roof. Later in life, Lamont also gave an extensive interview on his career, including lengthy discussion on his time working on the Bond franchise. He also wrote a memoir on that time titled The Man with the Golden Eye.

Lamont passed away in 2020 at the age of 91.
