Professor Braintrust was a computer scientist and the world's leading computer expert. A one-shot character, he appeared in episode 8 ("Location: Danger") of the 1991 animated television series, James Bond Jr.
Biography[]
Having won a prestigious scientific award, Braintrust is invited to the Spyman set at Mega Bucks Studios, California (ostensibly) by the lead actor, Neville Geniue. However, Geniue had been replaced by a S.C.U.M. impostor who planned to abduct the professor and use his skills to program a stolen American super-weapon, the Galaxy Defence System. Throughout his abduction, Braintrust was oblivious to his predicament and believed himself to be participating in a film. He was pursued by James Bond Jr. and his friends, who use a Continuum camcorder to track him and his captor, Felony O'Toole, to a giant-lizard film set. O'Toole makes use of his abilities to reprogram the giant robot lizard to attack their pursuers. Bond subsequently escapes and uses a movie stunt helicopter to rescue the Professor.
