Major Boothroyd is a quartermaster of Q Branch, the research and development division of the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS/MI6). A fusion of the literary and cinematic characters, modelled on the likeness of the real-life Geoffrey Boothroyd, he serves as a recurring ally in Dynamite Entertainment's James Bond comic series.
