Biography[]
- "All our new men say that. I usually reply, 'I don't wish to know that. Kindly leave MI5.'"
- ― Q.
Q was one of the operatives who oversaw the "James Bond 007 Training School", ostensibly located in the basement of the Harrods department store in Knightsbridge, London. Reserved and upper-middle class, he had little patience for oft-heard quips about his department's dangerous equipment, and drank tea from a "Q"-emblazoned cup. On the morning of the 14th March he and his subordinate Fordyce outfitted prospective spy Evelyn Tremble with an American-designed two-way television and radio wristwatch, and "protective clothing".
