The RPG-7 (Russian: РПГ-7) is a portable anti-tank grenade launcher/shoulder-fired anti-tank weapon developed by the Soviet Union. It's production began in 1958 and was first adopted by the Soviet Union in 1961.
Although it is essentially obsolete as an anti-tank weapon, it continues to be used as it can serve multiple other purposes; such as an infantry weapon to attack targets other than tanks. In addition, because it is cheap and easy to use, it is favored by the military, armed forces, and militias of developing countries and is widely used in armed conflicts around the world.
The RPG-7 has had handful of appearances in the James Bond media.
