Rafiq Anwar was an actor and director, who appeared as a waiter in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977),
He also appeared in Neecha Nagar (1946) and Ilzaam (1953). He was married to Edith Reich. He died in 1977 in England, shortly after the The Spy Who Loved Me was shot.
He is the father of film editor Tariq Anwar (American Beauty, The King's Speech).
