Renard's Pilot was a fictional unnamed man who appeared briefly in the 1999 James Bond film The World Is Not Enough (film). He was portrayed by British actor Patrick Romer.
Biography[]
In order to steal the atomic bomb from the ICBM Base in Kazakhstan, Renard needs his men to pose as Russian scientists inspecting the facility. He organises a Russian transport plane (actually a Spanish CASA C-212 Aviocar), with a bribed pilot to collect some of his men, including Sasha Davidov and Trukhin near Baku.
After having killed Davidov, Bond poses as a replacement for him, and also boards the plane. The pilot steps out of the front door and asks him for the 'grease'. Without having checked Davidov's sports bag before, Bond gives it back to the pilot, who takes out a pair of new Adidas sneakers. The pilot is very satisfied, so are Renard's men.
