The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II is a luxury car built by British manufacturer Rolls-Royce. It was introduced in 1977 as an updated version of the original Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow I, and remained in production for three years. The Silver Shadow was replaced by the Silver Spirit in 1980.
History[]
Licence to Kill (film)[]
When travelling to Isthmus, James Bond and his 'secretary' Pam Bouvier are using a 1978 Silver Shadow II on several occasions. First, they have a hired driver, who is later replaced by Q, posing as a chauffeur.
The Rolls is last seen when Pam drives it to the airport herself.
The World Is Not Enough (film)[]
Valentin Zukovsky, who is now a 'legitimate businessman', owns a white Silver Shadow II (re-imported from the United States) as his personal vehicle. Mister Bullion serves as his driver. When the caviar factory gets attacked by helicopters, Zukovsky and Christmas Jones decide to escape in the Rolls-Royce, but the car gets destroyed when it falls into the water, after the wooden driveway collapses due to it being cut by the circular saws of the helicopters.
