Sadam was a fictional Kurdish warlord and leader of one of three factions involved in the Kurdish civil war. A minor villain, the character appears briefly in the 1998 James Bond video-game, James Bond 007, for the Nintendo Game Boy.
Biography[]
Following the death of the warlord Iqbal at the hands of James Bond, Kurdistan was plunged into a civil war between three factions, headed respectively by Mustafa, Khatar and Sadam. The latter two allied factions were supplied with almost unlimited weaponry by General Golgov's arms cartel; who secretly intended to destabilise the country in preparation for an invasion. Unlike Khatar, Sadam was not in direct contact with the General. Although extremely brash and heavily armed, Sadam was in fact a coward who quickly surrendered to 007 when he burst into the villain's encampment. Disgusted by his cowardice, Bond let him live. Later, Mustafa would provide the General's location; pleased that his rivals had been defeated.
