The Sea Drill or "Sea-Vac" was a fictional wire-guided torpedo drill with rotary cutters capable of cutting through a ship's hull. It was one of the primary weapons on-board Elliot Carver's Stealth Ship. Remotely controlled from a dedicated bridge station by crewman Timblin, it was lowered between the ship's pontoons and launched toward its target. The drill was responsible for the sinking of the British frigate, HMS Devonshire, and ultimately the death of Carver himself. The sea drill appeared in the 1997 James Bond film, Tomorrow Never Dies.
