Unnamed, the character was the fictional daughter of Teresa di Vicenzo and Count Giulio di Vicenzo. The deceased character was mentioned briefly in Ian Fleming's 1963 James Bond novel, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and was subsequently adapted for the James Bond comic strip which ran in The Daily Express newspapers between 29th June 1964 and 15th May 1965.
Biography[]
Prior to the events of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Teresa Draco surreptitiously married Italian nobleman, Count Giulio di Vicenzo. During the marriage, the pair conceived an unnamed daughter; who remained with her mother after the money-grubbing Count di Vicenzo abandoned them both. Teresa's father and head of the Unione Corse, Marc-Ange Draco, purchased a divorce and bought a small chateau for his daughter in the Dordogne in southwest France. Six months prior to the novel's events, the baby died of spinal meningitis. The event precipitated a rapid decline in Teresa's mental health.
