"Full speed! Ram him!" - ― Alec Trevelyan and Train Driver
The Train Driver operated the Soviet Missile Train under the orders of Alec Trevelyan. A minor character in the 1995 James Bond film GoldenEye, he is portrayed by Trevor Byfield.
Biography[]
Once General Ourumov returned to the Soviet Missile Train with the captured Natalya Simonova, the Train Driver drove the train down the tracks. However, shortly into their journey, the driver noticed that there was a T-55 in the middle of the tracks, and alerted Alec Trevelyan and Xenia Onatopp to the situation. To the driver's surprise, Trevelyan ordered him to drive at full speed and ram the tank, in an attempt to kill James Bond, who was in the tank. The driver did as instructed and drove at full speed, ringing his bell as he did. However, Bond proceeded to fire a tank shell at the train, destroying the front, killing the driver, before the train continued on and rammed the tank, destroying it and forcing the train to stop, although Bond had been able to escape in time.
