Vauxhall Cross tube station's westbound platform, as seen in Die Another Day (2002).

Vauxhall Cross tube station is a fictional abandoned London Underground station and Secret Intelligence Service (SIS/MI6) facility in central London, United Kingdom. The station was featured in the 2002 James Bond film, Die Another Day.

Background

Long after its closure in the early-mid 20th Century, the Piccadilly Line station was re-purposed by the Secret Intelligence Service as a Q Branch laboratory and meeting location for abandoned spies. While its name and usage by SIS would seem to position the station near the SIS Building, the entrance James Bond utilizes is located approximately 2 km away at the south-east end of Westminster Bridge, just opposite Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.[1]
