Appearances[]
The "Super-Tank" was an experimental two-tracked battle tank capable of submerging under water or taking to the skies with its pair of retractable wings and jet engines. The heavily armoured vehicle had multiple redundant systems for use in the event of a flight-mode failure; including deployable helicopter rotors and a built-in parachute. Its primary armament were a pair of heavy cannons (which could rotate to face backward and act as rockets during take-off). In addition, it was armed with three laser turrets, with a fourth affixed to the commander's cupola. Its crew could enter and exit the vehicle through either the cupola, two hatches to either side of it, or underneath. It was typically operated by a three-man crew; but could be driven by a single crewman.
The tank was stolen by SCUM operative, Baron Von Skarin and his subordinates Jaws and Nick Nack, as part of his scheme to cripple and invade the city of London. After targeting the rail system, they followed up by attacking power-plants supplying the city with electricity, and finally advancing on Buckingham Palace. Their plans were ultimately foiled by the intervention of James Bond Jr.; who tricked the baron into driving the heavy tank over unstable metal plates and falling into a deep pit. The vehicle's fate is unknown.
