The W.W. Petroleum oil platform was a fictional offshore drilling rig in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Baja California, Mexico, that was ostensibly owned by W.W. Petroleum, a subsidiary of Whyte Enterprises Inc. The site was actually a clandestine satellite weapon control and tracking center, operated by the criminal organisation, SPECTRE. The location appeared in the 1971 James Bond film, Diamonds are Forever.
