Zhong Mae's Temple is a fictional Chinese temple, karate dojo and front for an arms smuggling ring, which appears in the first level of the 1998 James Bond video-game James Bond 007 for the Nintendo Game Boy.
History[]
Sent to investigate an arms smuggling ring operating out of China, James Bond infiltrates Zhong Mae's temple and karate dojo. Conversations with the locals reveal that Oddjob had been a recent visitor to the temple, as well as several military leaders who had entered the temple's shrine room and not emerged. Discovering a hidden doorway, 007 retrieves the rings' plans from a safe concealed in the room and is confronted by Zhong Mae. After defeating her, Bond makes his escape using a boat stolen from a nearby boathouse.
